Setanta choir is a non-profit organisation. Much of the money raised at public performances and events goes to benefit many charities both local and abroad. In 2018 Setanta Choir will celebrate 40 years of Choral singing.

 

To mark that impressive milestone we will be putting on a Gala performance hopefully with the RTE Concert orchestra.

Running and maintaining a large choir is a big and costly undertaking.

Whilst membership subscriptions help with the day to day costs such as music, rehearsal venue hire, workshops etc., no other funding is available to us.

To enable us to put on a large production, we have to raise funds to cover costs which can be quite considerable.
