Sponsor Us

Setanta Choir – Bringing the music to you, running and maintaining a large choir is a big and costly undertaking. Whilst membership subscriptions help with the day to day costs such as music, rehearsal venue hire, workshops etc., very little other funding is available to us.

To enable us to put on a large production, we have to raise funds to cover costs which can be quite considerable, including music hire, venue fees, orchestra / musician fees, soloists fees, accompanist fees, promotional expenses – the list is endless.

We want to be able to bring to our local audiences great concert performances employing the best musicians and singers available. We gratefully acknowledge all our loyal sponsors past and present who have enabled us to bring you great performances such as Haydn’s Creation, Jenkins The Peacemakers, Fauré’s Requiem and many more, so if you are in a position to help please do get in touch with us.

What is Sponsorship?

There are many ways in which you can contribute and any help large or small is greatly appreciated. As a sponsor, you or your Company will be listed on our website’s Sponsors page in the relevant category.

You will be first to hear of forthcoming performances and will be listed in concert programmes.

For specific events, we offer advertising opportunities in our concert programme and priority seating and free tickets for Platinum and Gold sponsors.

In 2018, Setanta celebrated 40 years of music and song.

To mark the event we presented a Gala Concert in St. Patrick’s Church Dundalk with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra and David Brophy conducting. The programme included Mozart’s Coronation Mass with guest soloists Eileen Coyle – Soprano, Sharon Carty – Alto, Eugene Ginty – Tenor and Christopher Cull – Bass. Jennifer Murphy Violinist performed Poéme by Chausson.

We would not have been able to bring this wonderful concert to our audience without the generosity of our many sponsors to whom we are forever grateful.

We are currently working on a new proposal to bring another major concert to Dundalk in 2020. So, if you are in a position to help fund this event please get in touch!
