Eileen Coyle – Soprano

Eileen , a native of Cavan, hEileen Coyle - Sopranoolds a Masters in Music Technology from the University of Limerick. She is currently studying classical singing with Dr Imelda Drumm in the RIAM and completed the Diploma in Teaching and Performance there. She holds the position of Soprano Lay Vicar Choral with Christ Church Cathedral Choir, Dublin and performs at weekly services and concerts throughout the year. Eileen has 10 years of choral training specialising in renaissance polyphony and Gregorian chant.

She performs regularly as a soloist with The Lassus Scholars professional chamber choir and made her National Concert Hall solo debut with them on 23rd of September 2017 in Mozart’s Coronation Mass. She also sings with chamber ensemble, Anúna, and with popular close harmony group, The Bugle Babes, performing in each case at venues all around Ireland. She has also sung with The Bugle Babes on radio and television. They have residency at the Cellar Bar in the Merrion Hotel, Dublin. Eileen has released two original albums – a solo album “The Only Way is On”, written, recorded and performed by Eileen, and her second album, “The Stolen Child” released in 2015.
